World cup is yet to start officially but today there are four high profile matches. Yes it is warm up matches only but you cant consider them as low profile. The match begins with India Vs. West Indies. Being an Indian I will always support and wish for an Indian victory. At this moment Indian team looks more concentrated towards winning the cup. I will be waiting for this team to pick the cup.

Today's second match is between the present world champions Australia and England. We cant say who is going to win this match as both are equally maintained side. Recently England has defeated world champions in the final or tri-series, even they faced a whitewash from Kiwis too, but still they cant be underestimated. I will definitely vote for England for this match.

The third match is between Pakistan and South Africa. As we know Pakistan is going through a bad phase, they lost both their opening bowlers and since South Africa is the world's no. 1 team in ODI's right now. Still I will predict for a Pakistan to win.

The fourth warm up match is between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. New Zealand was going through a very good phase by defeating world champions Australia in their home series, but in the first warm up match they lost to Bangladesh. Hence, the match is going to be tough and I will support Sri Lanka for this match.

Watch out these sites for latest news on Team India Performance and World Cup Cricket Stats.

Team India stoped Proteas from their first ever ODI series win in India!

Ultimately Team India stopped the Proteas to win the ODI series in India. Nice show by Team India. Rahul Dravid led from the front with a gritty unbeaten 78 as India shrugged off the Eden Gardens humiliation with a five-wicket win over South Africa in the fifth and final cricket one-dayer and level the one-day series 2-2 in Mumbai on 28th of November. The credit should also be given to Irphan Pathan. After restricting the visitors to 221 for six on a difficult batting track, Dravid anchored his innings brilliantly to guide the team to victory with 15 balls to spare and prevent South Africa from recording their first-ever one-day series in India. This guy has improved a lot. Yuvraj Singh has also shown some brilliant show in this series.

Proteas roar's over Team India!!!

Team India has shown that Proteas are much better player of cricket than India. Strategy wise also India does not stand at par to them. Team India opened the inning with Irphan Pathan while they have the two world class opener in their kitty. Even the game of Sachin is going to the down ward route. He is not touching the double figure from so many matches then why the team is carrying him? Our very own DADA has shown the reply to the national selector by showing the consistency as an allrounder in recent time. (159 Runs and 5 wickets against MAHARASHTRA).

Team India collapsed today here at Eden garden at Kolkata on 25th November. They scored merely 188 with 4.1 overs left on the board. Thanks to some brilliant show by Yuvraj Singh and Md. Kaif. Both of them shown the consistency and helped India to reach a respectable total. Then Smith scored a brilliant century and they won the game by 10 wickets.

Team India has stopped the chariot of Victory of South Africa!

Ultimately team India has stopped the chariot of Victory of South Africa, here at Bangalore on 19th of November. Seeing Pathan’s bowling is like seeing some thing which is too close to the heart.

Irfan Pathan produced a devastating spell of seam bowling as an inspired India showed little mercy to ruthlessly destroy Sri Lanka with an eight wicket victory in the second cricket ODI in Mohali on Friday 28th October. The young Pathan captured four early wickets to help skittle out the visitors for a paltry 122, thanks to J. P. Although the responsible people are saying not to take too much from this. It's a golden chance to let team india shine.

Sourav Ganguly, the greetest south paw betsman of Indian cricket history, what has happens to you. Sourav Ganguly has once himself said he must be the most hated captain in the history of indian cricket. Some days ago some people has started a site named as ihateganguly. This is completely bad thing to Indian cricket. Experts feel he is not a good captain, Indian fans do not like his harsh nature and everyone agrees he is rude, arrogant and overconfident. Greg Chappell of course feels Sourav is "mentally and physically unfit to lead India" but Ganguly refuses to change, he refuses to fade. So what makes him tick? Why do so many people hate him despite a brilliant captaincy record. Also in my view he is one of the greatest batsman I have ever seen. Ganguly please come back at least I am with you!!

Victory at the time of discontent

Ultimately Team India won the two test series by a margin of 2-0 against the like of a team which is only considered good than Bangladesh. The controversies made this series as much important in Indians. Sourav Vs Greg.

The drama of Indian team is coming from 2003 world cup. First Laxman was rested from the world cup without any specific reason. Till date fingers continue to be pointed at Ganguly. Then came the biggest drama of team India in the Pakistan tour of India. Sachin Tendulkar was stranded on 194 at Multan. Many people think Ganguly behind this drama when Viru has scored a tripple century and stand-in-skipper Dravid declare the innings when Sachin was batting at 194. Then the Nagpur picth drama, in which Ganguly declares him fully fit before one day of the third test against Australia, and then suddenly pulls out under dubious circumstances. Ultimately now comes the Chappele's ire. He fumes after players turn up late for a pre-tour press conference and complains of indiscipline and improper arrangement. Then in the first test against Zimbabwe, underpressure guy's Laxman and Ganguly both scored a century and Laxman complains about negative vibes hampering team unity. One day later Ganguly suddenly says he was under pressure since Chappel had suggested before the test that he stepped down and make way for in form palyers like Kaif and Yuvi.

The disclosure of Ganguly has shaken up Indian cricket. But we should not overshadowed the briliant performance of Irfan Pathan in this test series. 200 wickets by Harbhajan Singh, good knock by Gautam Gambhir are some of the sailent features of team India in this series.

Dont know when Team India will win the FINAL ?

India continued their exasperating sequence of flops in the finals on 06th September as New Zealand rode on Nathan Astle's scintillating century to clinch the Videocon Cup with a comfortable six-wicket victory in Harare on Tuesday. The right-handed Astle cracked an unbeaten 115 to help his team overhaul the target of 277 and leave the Indians licking the wounds of yet another embarassing defeat in a Final. Man of the match Yuvraj recorded his fourth and perhaps his best structured century in ODI.

In the last match against New Zealand on Friday, it was 24-year-old Mohammad Kaif who led India's chase. On Sunday, it was the turn of another youngster who took up the challenge and steered India through tides. Yuvraj Singh's sparkling 120 from 124 balls spared India the humiliation of defeat against a second-string Zimbabwe in the last league encounter.

So in the entire series it was only the youngsters who are doing their part, not the seniors.

Virender Sehwag has been too rash, Sourav Ganguly's form hasn't turned and even Rahul Dravid has been mediocre by his own very high standards.

Are the Indian seniors past their prime? Kaif notched up his second one-day international hundred to lead the batting renaissance as India overhauled New Zealand's score of 278 with 15 balls to spare. This was the record highest run chase ever at the Harare Sports Club. The win has ensured that India will meet the Kiwis again in the final on September 6.

After close defeats and capitulations, the Indian cricket team has this time finally managed a victory over a top-class side. And a fine triumph it was. That they did it while chasing a very competitive total is no mean feat. Although Shane Bond and Daniel Vettori were certainly missed by a New Zealand bowling attack which looked listless on Friday, it cannot take away the credit from the Indian batsmen who applied themselves much better.

India's new found fighting spirit was also on display as they restricted New Zealand to 278/9 after a great start on a beautiful batting track, and then kept their cool while chasing the target.

But is this just another flash in the pan, or is Team India really moving forward? Can we expect such performances consistently?
