Proteas roar's over Team India!!!

Team India has shown that Proteas are much better player of cricket than India. Strategy wise also India does not stand at par to them. Team India opened the inning with Irphan Pathan while they have the two world class opener in their kitty. Even the game of Sachin is going to the down ward route. He is not touching the double figure from so many matches then why the team is carrying him? Our very own DADA has shown the reply to the national selector by showing the consistency as an allrounder in recent time. (159 Runs and 5 wickets against MAHARASHTRA).

Team India collapsed today here at Eden garden at Kolkata on 25th November. They scored merely 188 with 4.1 overs left on the board. Thanks to some brilliant show by Yuvraj Singh and Md. Kaif. Both of them shown the consistency and helped India to reach a respectable total. Then Smith scored a brilliant century and they won the game by 10 wickets.

I think Pathan was sent as opener 'coz the coach wanted to avoid one of the opener's being exposed to the protea's pace battery. Anyways the plan backfired, which once again demonstrates conclusively that our batsmen with the exception of Dravid just cant play fast bowling.
Dew factor also played a major role, as it became progressively easier to bat as the evening progressed. I feel the entire exercise of keeping D/N ODIs at such venues where dew is going to play a major role, should be scrapped. Cricket then gets reduced to a game of chance, as the team winning the toss will obviously decide to bat first! Thats not taking away the blame from our paper tigers! What's going to happen when they play in 2007 WC in windies on their fast & bouncy tracks is anybody's guess!
Chappell's added fuel to the Ganguly controversy by showing his middle finger to Ganguly supporters on thursday. This is really the limits. I support Chappell's decision to exclude DADA from ODIs as he's a lousy fielder and not in the best of one day form, but making a lewd gesture to Dada's supporters is preposterous not to say the least!
