Fever of cricket in India!

The fever of cricket is mounting in India. World cup is yet to start officially but today there are four high profile matches. Yes it is warm up matches only but you cant consider them as low profile. The match begins with India Vs. West Indies. Being an Indian I will always support and wish for an Indian victory. At this moment Indian team looks more concentrated towards winning the cup. I will be waiting for this team to pick the cup.

Today's second match is between the present world champions Australia and England. We cant say who is going to win this match as both are equally maintained side. Recently England has defeated world champions in the final or tri-series, even they faced a whitewash from Kiwis too, but still they cant be underestimated. I will definitely vote for England for this match.

The third match is between Pakistan and South Africa. As we know Pakistan is going through a bad phase, they lost both their opening bowlers and since South Africa is the world's no. 1 team in ODI's right now. Still I will predict for a Pakistan to win.

The fourth warm up match is between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. New Zealand was going through a very good phase by defeating world champions Australia in their home series, but in the first warm up match they lost to Bangladesh. Hence, the match is going to be tough and I will support Sri Lanka for this match.

Team India stoped Proteas from their first ever ODI series win in India!

Ultimately Team India stopped the Proteas to win the ODI series in India. Nice show by Team India. Rahul Dravid led from the front with a gritty unbeaten 78 as India shrugged off the Eden Gardens humiliation with a five-wicket win over South Africa in the fifth and final cricket one-dayer and level the one-day series 2-2 in Mumbai on 28th of November. The credit should also be given to Irphan Pathan. After restricting the visitors to 221 for six on a difficult batting track, Dravid anchored his innings brilliantly to guide the team to victory with 15 balls to spare and prevent South Africa from recording their first-ever one-day series in India. This guy has improved a lot. Yuvraj Singh has also shown some brilliant show in this series.

Proteas roar's over Team India!!!

Team India has shown that Proteas are much better player of cricket than India. Strategy wise also India does not stand at par to them. Team India opened the inning with Irphan Pathan while they have the two world class opener in their kitty. Even the game of Sachin is going to the down ward route. He is not touching the double figure from so many matches then why the team is carrying him? Our very own DADA has shown the reply to the national selector by showing the consistency as an allrounder in recent time. (159 Runs and 5 wickets against MAHARASHTRA).

Team India collapsed today here at Eden garden at Kolkata on 25th November. They scored merely 188 with 4.1 overs left on the board. Thanks to some brilliant show by Yuvraj Singh and Md. Kaif. Both of them shown the consistency and helped India to reach a respectable total. Then Smith scored a brilliant century and they won the game by 10 wickets.

Team India has stopped the chariot of Victory of South Africa!

Ultimately team India has stopped the chariot of Victory of South Africa, here at Bangalore on 19th of November. In the 2nd ODI Dravid won the toss and ask them to bat first. It proved to be a master-stroke. They have bundled out the visitor's team at 169/9. Then the hero Viru (Virendra Sehwag) came up with such a fine show that ended with 6 wicket victory of Team India. The match ended when there are 14.2 overs are still left. Pathan has shown a brilliant all round show by taking 3 wickets and then making 37.

Easy series victory by Team India!!!

Team India has won the last ODI here at Vadodara on November 12th 2005. The series is won by Team India with a margin of 6-1. And the seventh and the last ODI not only added the smile to more than one million faces but also on the face of Grage Chappell as his strategizing proved successful yet again.

Dhoni’s exploit with the bat again ensured Team India register another easy five-wicket victory in the last game. Today’s game was won with 10.3 overs to spare. Irfan Pathan playin in his home ground for the first time, and Ajit Agarkar started off well and then RP Singh backed them up by breaking the middle-order. In the later part of Lankan inning Pathan took the wicket of Atapattu (59) and Arnold (68) in two consecutive ball.
